This image sums up the current situation that a lot of us are facing – no, not the 5 PM end of workday, (it is much, much longer than that for sure), but yeah, it is home sweet home when you turn away from your laptop. Though lockdowns are slowly being eased now, social distancing is the current war cry that will carry us through the latter half of 2020.

The changed work-scenario forces us to keep our heads above water and maintain a business-as-usual attitude in the best way we possibly can. And after all these weeks of 100% remote-working teams, I am happy to report that we have been successful in ensuring that business really does go about as usual.

At MPS Interactive, we transitioned to remote-working mode seamlessly – while work-from-home was always an option before, it was never undertaken at such a magnitude before – but we were prepared. Mails were sent out, laptops were arranged for, our HR, admin, security, and IT teams worked around the clock to ensure everyone was set. The management assured us that there were plans in place to ensure the servers were up and functioning and SOPs for eventualities had been put in order. Our support functions truly lived up to their name.

And that makes me think – yes, we are in it together – as human beings – we adapt and accommodate. And that reinforces the values our organization lives by – Empathy, Excellence, and Efficiency, as we deal with the current scenario. Yes, this too shall pass, and we will become stronger.
